The virtual space in this installation is not only to be explored visually through the VR glasses, but also haptically by using one's own hands. The table, the chair and the items - which can be seen in VR- are set up in the same size and the same arrangement in the real world. Small disturbances try to force the user to reflect about those two realities.
The work deals with the narrative of the 1:1 map, which Jean Baudrillard also described in his publication "Simulacres et Simulation" from 1983 and asks what is established as reality. Is perception constituted by reality or can sensuous perception only exist in a set reality?
